Accompanied by your guide, you will make your way to the Palace of Versailles from central Paris. Upon arrival, you'll be led on a 2-hour tour that reveals the darkness hiding beneath the palace's golden façade – and the consequences of making enemies within the royal court...
Learn about what life was like at the palace under the reign of France's Kings, along with some surprising stories that are usually neglected during classic tours, including the Affair of the Poisons and the Affair of the Diamond Necklace.
You will discover that the palace was partly built on a cemetery, and the ghost of Marie-Antoinette is sometimes seen there...
